Believe

People don't buy what you do; they buy why you do it. The goal is not do business with everybody who needs what you have. The goal is to do business with people who believe what you believe.

People

The people who never fail are the people who never try and the only people who never criticized are the people who don't do anything.

Mindfulness

Use the energy of mindfulness to recognize the pain inside and hold it tenderly, like a mother holding a baby. Mindfulness is the mother. Your pain, sorrow, despair is your baby. There is no fighting. The energy of mindfulness does the work of recognizing, embracing and bringing relief. When a mother hears her baby crying, she puts aside what she's doing, goes immediately to pick up her baby and hold the baby tenderly. She may not know what is wrong with the baby at first, but the fact that she's holding the baby tenderly like this already brings relief to the baby. You may not know what the causing your pain, despair, depression, fear, but if you know how to hold that pain with the energy of mindfulness, you immediately get relief, because the energy of mindfulness begin to penetrate the energy of pain, of sorrow.

Imagine the flower in the morning. The flower is not yet open. The sunshine embrace the flower, and the energy of the sunshine begins to penetrates the flower, and an hour later the flower has to open itself to the sun. The sun is our mindfulness and the flower is our feelings. - Thich Nhat Hanh

Proper

Correct doesn't mean proper. I give you an example:

1. In an examination. All the candidates doing their exam as they think are correct. Some doing their exam truthfully and some waiting the answer from their friend sitting next to him/her. At the moment, they think they doing the correct/right action, but that doesn't mean proper.

2. A wife found out that her husband has an affair with other woman. You can imagine how the wife act. At the moment the wife think what is correct for her, but doesn't think properly.

3. Adolf Hitler (German politician and the leader of the National Socialist German Workers Party) at that time he think what is correct for the nation, but that  does not mean proper for the nation.

Ego and Self

The personalty of ego is afraid. They afraid to lose... afraid to change... afraid to look down on or disagree. Unconsciously, it creates own opinion and later habits. Habits lead to many behaviours - irresponsible, lying, short temper, greed, a controller etc...

Self is when you know the ego appear. You experience/understand your ego. You let your ego teach you. You know ego is dangerous and finally you tame your ego.

More than Marketing

I don't care what you're going to tell me intellectually. I don't care. Give me reptilian. Why? Because the reptilian always wins. - Dr. G Clotaire Rapaille

Worthy

If you have a book to write, write it. If you want to record an album, record it. No need to wait for someone in a cubicle halfway across the country to decide if you're worthy.

Most people work hard to find artful ways to say very little. Why not work harder to think of something remarkable or important to say in the first place?

Tornado

Our mind is like a Tornado. It grabs everything and it damages everything. Usually we follow the mind. This is where we always sit at the rotating area. We cannot stop the mind stop thinking. The only safest way is we sit in the centre of the tornado.

A Boxing Match

If our match between, greed, hatred and delusion is a boxing match, here's is a good example.

Our greed, hatred and delusion has won every round of the boxing match. Remember, the fight has no limits on the number of round that can be fought. Someday we will win the fight, simply because they got the watch, and we have the time.

A Story

A story begin is when the fire starts. And it end when the woods finished. To finish the air is possible, but it will take a long time to end the fire. We can, not to add the wood in order to end the fire.

Research

Steven Pressfield's trick with research

"Here's what I do. In my non-working hours, I'll read the stuff I need for research. I buy the books, rather than take them out from the library. That way I'm free to mark them up, dog-ear, underline, highlight. Then each morning I take the first hour at the keyboard to transcribe those notes into files. This is an excellent warm-up for the day; it gets me filling pages without having to do any really hard work. And it's a good way to steep myself in the material. The trick, for me, is to limit this research time to a single hour. Then I stop. Religiously. The next three hours are real work."

Most of the time too many research stops you by start your work.

Missing missing

You miss someone. You feel alone. You wanted to see him in many ways, but the ego tell you not. You tell yourself should I go to see him and you find many ways to see him. You even talk to your friend about 'your friend' missing someone and ask your friend what should he/her do if you missing someone? But, sometimes you think the act is so wrong, but sometimes is so right. What you want to do? Ooo... let it go... let it go.... when let it go... you no need to be so ego, you no need to lie your friend and yourself... and you no need to be so wrong and so right about it.... Let it go...

The Great Swimmer

The different between a good swimmer and the great one. In competition almost immediately after you hit the water, you enter the Pain Zone. It hurts and it gets worse every meter you go. The great swimmer are the one who can go deeper into the the Pain Zone and stay longer.

Button and Unbutton

When you button your shirt and at the end you realize you buttoned wrongly, you have to unbutton and start to button again.

When you realized something is wrong in the middle or in the end, you need to start again from the begining.

Dare

Try harder if it's not working. But if it's not working, harder might not be an answer.

Well, we can always try different.

Sometimes genius people are not different from us. It's they're dare to try differently.

Should I believe this 'Secret'?

"Don't tell people what are you going to 'START' and what you up to either. Don't reveal your plan to ANYONE. Not because it's a secret, but because something in universe happens when you tell us what you're going to do instead of doing it. The universe take it all away and you will never start.

Tell us 'what you did' not 'what are you going to do'. Then you will be fine." - David Horwath

Should I believe this 'Secret'?

Missing you, it comes, it grieves, it goes,
It might wander be,
or it might a wishful thinker.

Nobody knows when it comes and goes,
Only the moment can witness it.

Wonder why the thought has come,
but to wish you well and happy.

Action Movie

Just imagine this: A kid started to watch action movies on age 12. Average watch 1 hour per day. By the time the kid reach age 22, he/she watched (10 years x 365 hours) = 3650 hours of action movies. I can now imagine the condition of the world.

The Street Sweeper

"If a man is called to be a street sweeper, he should sweep streets even as Michelangelo painted or Beethoven composed music or Shakespeare wrote poetry. He should sweep streets so well that all the hosts of heaven and earth will pause to say, 'Here lived a great street sweeper who did his job well.'" – Martin Luther King, Jr.

Why the street sweeper praised by the hosts of heaven and earth? Because he did his job unconditionally.
